Unternehmensgeschichte

Zeit Ereignis
1846 Gegründet unter der Leitung von John A. Poor als Lokomotivgießerei zum Bau von Eisenbahnausrüstungen für die Bahnverbindung zwischen Portland und Montreal. Die Gründung erfolgt in erster Linie zur Herstellung von Lokomotiven für die "Atlantic & St. Lawrence Railroad".
07.1848 Die erste Lokomotive "Augusta", wird für die Portland, Saco & Portsmouth Railroad geliefert.
